Last day of February

You remember that last post that I told you Devin and I were going on a date? Well, the date was great... in more ways than one.
First we went to a few more of the homes in the Parade of Homes show. They were pretty nice, but none of the houses we saw this year were as awesome as the house out in Hurricane. We both love that house and hope to be able to have something like it someday. Devin hopes someday sooner rather than later, but we'll see. After we finished with the homes we went to Pasta Factory for dinner.
I got my usual, angel hair pasta, alfredo sauce, and some seasoned chicken breast. It was delicious. It always is. Devin got the exact same thing except for the noodles. He got spinach noodles instead. I tried a bite of them and they were actually quite good. Who'd a thought, eh? After dinner we went to the movies to go see I Am Number 4. It was a really good movie. I would definitely reccomend it. While we were at the movie theater a couple of exciting/crazy things happened.
 The first one was exciting.
Devin dropped me off at the theater to get our tickets and find some seats while he went to Wal-Mart and bought some candy for the movie. (movie theater candy is just too expensive) While he was gone I felt the baby move for the very first time. It really is quite a crazy feeling. Ever since then I keep thinking that I'm going to start feeling her more, but I haven't. I'll just have to wait a lil bit longer.
The second thing that happened was quite crazy.
Apparently while we were in the movie there was a huge explosion caused by some propane tanks that were in a garage, in a house just a few hundred feet away from the theater. We didn't find this out till after we got out of our movie.
During the movie though we did hear a huge explosion, we just didn't know what it was. The explosion was so big it shook the tiles in the ceiling during the movie. It was kinda scary, but since nobody knew what caused that we didn't think anything of it. I personally feel that we should have been evacuated from the theater or just notified of what was going on outside. Stupid Weststates theater. Oh well. We are fine.
That is not an actual photo of the fire.

Life on 2/25/11

So it's been quite a while since I've posted anything. I'm not the greatest blogger, plus I feel like our life is very boring and there just isn't much to talk about.
We have less than 2 months till we move to WA. I'm really excited, but I'm also a little bit nervous. I'm really nervous that I won't get approved by Medicaid up there and if I don't then we are in big trouble. I'm a little nervous to be having a baby up there too. Maybe if I'd of had one before it wouldn't be quite so scary and intimidating.
Devin is good. He just does the same thing every day. Gets up, goes to work, comes home for lunch, goes back to work, then comes home for the evening. I know he isn't loving this job, but he is doing it anyways... for me, for us. I love him lots for all that he does.
We have our 20 week checkup/ultrasound in a little over a week. I'm excited to get to see our little girl again. Since I still don't look very pregnant it's really easy to forget that I am. I really do hope that I start to look pregnant soon though. I'm tired of just looking like I'm gaining weight.
Devin and I are going on a date tonight. I'm pretty excited about that. It's just dinner and a movie, but it's still pretty awesome and exciting.

It's a girl!

Here are her little feet.

Here is her bum with legs and her girl parts.

She still looks like an alien when we get to see her face, but she has gotten really big since our last ultrasound.

And the heartbeat... it goes down in beats per minute every ultrasound. Pretty interesting.

Well there she is... so far. We are both very excited and very nervous, but I know we will do just fine. And Devin is going to be the cutest daddy evar.

I've had a grilled cheese sandwich with a bowl of tomato soup every day for lunch for over a week. A little strange? I think so, but I am pregnant. So I guess that's a pretty good reason to be craving the same thing for so long... right?

P.S. I'm 16 weeks pregnant and we have exactly one more week till we find out if we are having a boy or girl.           I'm soooo excited.
